  Unity House's Mental Health Services focus on housing, supporting, and rehabilitating individuals with mental illness to help them gain the necessary skills, supports, and resources to achieve independence and self-sufficiency. We offer:
Certified Apartments / Auburn, NY
Transitional housing setting offering ongoing support to those who benefit from daily assistance.
Apartments throughout the City of Auburn for individuals seeking assistance while transitioning to permanent housing.
Services provided include rehabilitative counseling and support, daily living skills development, medication monitoring, and community integration.
24-hour trained staff supervision and guidance.
Permanent Supported Housing / Cayuga County

Case management support offered to individuals who reside in permanent housing in Cayuga County.

Stipends potentially available towards start-up costs, rent and/or utilities.
Services provided include case management and support, assistance finding appropriate open-market housing, security deposits for same, assistance setting up and furnishing housing, budgeting monthly expenses, linkages to community supports, and access to ancillary services.
Respite Care / Auburn, NY
Round-the-clock residential setting designed to provide emergent, temporary shelter to adult Cayuga County residents with a mental health diagnosis. Maximum stay: 21 days.
PROSperity Program / Auburn, NY
(Personalized Recovery Oriented Services)

PROS is a comprehensive one-stop recovery-oriented program. PROS teaches participants to use inherent strengths and supports to overcome barriers caused by a mental health condition so that they may develop the recovery skills needed to live their lives more fully. PROS is available on a self-referral basis.

Peers’ PLACE provides a safe spot where adults with mental illness can learn from and support each other on their road to recovery.

Drop-In Center / Auburn, NY

A safe, nurturing social space for people with mental health issues.

Peer-staffed and offering support, camaraderie, activities, and linkages to needed daily living services.

Permanent Supported Housing / Wayne County
Apartment program for consumers with:
mental health illnesses who are exiting the forensic system (10 beds)
co-occurring mental illness and substance abuse (8 beds)
Case management support offered to individuals who reside in permanent housing in Wayne County.
Services provided include case management and support; assistance finding appropriate housing.
Stipends potentially available towards start-up costs, rent and/or utilities.
Priority given to consumers with criminal justice involvement or with co-occurring disorders (mental illness and substance abuse).
